An intriguing and beautifully constructed painting that employs thick, textured blocks of impasto oil paint. Rich red tones sit alongside hues of pink and pale orange creating a gorgeous colourfield.
The painting is dated 1961 on the back alongside a confident but as yet, unidentified signature. Presumed European but further research needs to be conducted.
The piece measures: 61cm x 48cm and is housed in its original, artists frame. Signed, dated and titled verso.
