A plantsman painting. Early winter landscape of a post war, British garden scene. Painted in a very confident and well trained manner. Echoes of Euston Road or Camberwell schools. Signed P Nott for Peter Nott who went on to study at The Royal Academy schools.

This is a large painting measuring 107cm wide and 77cm tall. Housed in its original, period frame.
