Mirja Oksanen trained at Goldsmiths in the late 1980s and then at the Royal College of Art in the mid 1990s. Her work has been included in many contemporary shows and she is currently a member of The Turps East Sussex Programme, a mentoring program for painters based across Sussex, run by Turps Education and led by Matthew Burrows CBE.
This piece was exhibited at The Lido Stores, Margate as part of the 'Fierce Scandal' alternative valentines show held in February 2024.
